A bit of history
In 1953, while attending the launch of eight fast interceptors, the representative of a royal family from a Persian Gulf emirate fell under the spell of the mastery of Canados carpenters. His immediate reaction was to ask if the shipyard would be able to build a yacht for His Highness. The rest is history…
More than seven decades have passed since we delivered our first yacht, and we’ve always strived to stay at the forefront of new yacht-building technologies.
While our historic production line comprises monohulls ranging in length from 13 to 46 meters, the Heritage catamaran range represents, strictly speaking, a new type of yacht.
Infrastructure
Our 80,000 square-meter waterfront facility is a veritable melting pot of ideas and innovations, applying the latest technologies combined with traditional craftsmanship.
Our main infrastructure consists of 3 office buildings, 2 private marinas, direct access to the sea 400 meters away.
Production is divided between a 3200 m2 for fiberglass, a 4400 m2finishing shed 2600 m2a 600 m2 and a 3200 m2.
Our constant research is greatly facilitated by our proximitý to the Italian Naval Institute, where we have access to one of the world’s largest hull basins.
