Truly Different
For many years now, more and more customers have been attracted to motor catamarans for their versatility, comfort and habitability, while others are attracted by their low fuel consumption compared to similarly sized monohulls.
The other undeniable aspect of their success lies in their incredible stabilitý, but almost all power catamaran production is the fruit of sailboat builders. The result is catamarans that are no more than modified sailboat hulls very limited in terms of performance and efficiency beyond 15/18 knots, and whose excessive width is a real constraint.
THE SIX COMMANDMENTS
1- Directly extrapolated and adapted from a racing catamaran, the two hulls with ventilated quadruple step were extensively CFD tested. Despité its vertical bow, it doesn’t get wet thanks to oversized bilges. Above a certain speed, the negative inclination of the tunnel partially sustains the boat.
2- The Heritage 36′ is built entirely in infusion to better control its weight. Its reasonable mass, combined with an exceptional hull design, enables it to exceed 50 knots with just two 250 hp Mercury engines, while our nearest competitor doesn’t exceed 38 knots with two 300 hp engines. As a result, at equivalent speeds, our fuel consumption is over 30% lower.
3- Wondering why our hull sides are so high? We wanted optimum protection against spray. The choice of an almost vertical windshield is not unrelated to the fact that, even in rough weather, the spray won’t reach you. But because it’s not enough to be protected from the elements, high bulwarks make it easy to move around on board, so that even the most extreme weather conditions can’t reach you. me your children to get around.
4- With its three distinct areas – the aft deck, the cockpit and the open foredeck – the Heritage 36 can accommodate 16 people, not counting the aft sunbathing areas. Lunch in the cockpit will be comfortable for 8 people, while 4 to 6 people will enjoy the equipped foredeck.
5- Because a beautiful boat is not enough for today’s customers, the boat has to be smart. We have worked with the aim of creating a boat that is easy to use and inexpensive to maintain. Our technical office has developed́ new solutions such as autonomous 24-volt air conditioning, which can ê t8 hours on a normal battery pack.
6- Francesco Struglia, the designer, has perfectly integrated́ that elegance rhymes with simplicitý. Whichever way you look at it, the Heritage 36 is imbued with puritý and class, and everywhere, form follows function.
